These reference magnets are made of AL-Ni-Co permanent magnets and are used to calibrate Hall effect gauss meters. They are stabilized during production to guard against irreversible losses resulting from temperature changes and external magnetic fields. They are suitable for transverse Hall Probes of dimensions 10 x 5 x 2 mm and are calibrated with primary standards .

These magnets are available with the following flux densities.
  • For transverse Hall Probes : 1, 3, 5 Kilogauss nominal value
  • For Axial Hall Probes : 1 Kilogauss

Accuracy:

  • Within +5% of the nominal value. Individual magnet is designated with the actual flux density within + 1% at 25*C

Magnetic Stability:

  • Magnets will not be permanently affected by stray fields below 150 Gauss
